Improving crops to deliver high-value, sustainable ingredients.

Agricultural innovation: Delivering industry needs

For nearly 100 years, Corteva Agriscience has been developing industry-leading seed products, and for more than 25 years we have embraced seed breeding innovation. This enables Value-Added Ingredients to meet the operational needs of the food industry, and the nutrition, clean label and sensory requirements of consumers.

From seeds to ingredients

Our Value-Added Ingredient seeds are grown under an identity preservation (IP) program which enables traceability from the farm or region where the crop is grown to the ingredient processor. This may allow for the inclusion of quantitative sustainability and production data, increasing the level of transparency for manufacturers and consumers who want to better understand where the food ingredients originated.

Desirable farming and ingredients

We work every day to fulfill our company’s purpose of enriching the lives of those who produce and those who consume, ensuring progress for generations to come.

We believe farmers and food industry stakeholders need sustainable solutions to address challenges and help their operations thrive. Our Value-Added Ingredients, produced from Corteva Agriscience™ seeds, are built from nearly a century of plant breeding research from our scientists, plant breeders and agronomists who develop the products farmers need to be more productive, enabling increased delivery of stakeholder needs. Our approach to research and development is guided by collaboration, transparency, product stewardship and using advanced technologies to deliver sustainable solutions for farmers and food today and tomorrow.
